  • Our Journey Through The Valley (30)

    12 July, 2013

Yesterday I saw a man in what I sensed to be the advanced stages of Motor Neurone Disease (MND). I didn't like what I saw. I hoped that what I was seeing was not a prophetic picture of what is ahead of us.

We were attending the first meeting of an MND clinic during which time we met a number of specialists in that particular field . We have not attended such a clinic as this and we found it very helpful. But for the first time, we felt surrounded by others who are walking the same path as we are. It was very confronting.

Bev and I are looking very forward to next Sunday's service when the focus of the service will be on healing and wholeness. As the Elders anoint Bev with oil we so much want this to be an action and a declaration of the authority of Jesus that reverberates throughout the spiritual realm with a power and a volume that causes the inhabitants of the spiritual realm to fall down on their faces in recognition of the absolute, unequivocal, irresistible authority of the Son of the Living God.

If you are a regular reader of this journey blog and you are a person of prayer, may we ask you to pray for us as we share this declaration in the Church family to which we belong. The service starts at 9.30am.
