Of all the Bible characters, it seems to me that Joshua is a no-nonsence, straight down the line, what you see is what you get kind of person.
We first get an idea of what he is like when he takes on the Amalekites in Exodus 17 and defeats them. He was one of the 12 spies sent to explore the Land of Promise and only 1 of the 2 to bri ng back a "good report".
In his younger years he was Moses' aide or assistant. He watched Moses and obviously learned a great deal from a great man.
I have enjoyed preparing these 8 studies because of the qualities of Joshua as a man and especially as a leader. I offer them to yolu with the hope that you will come to appreciate Joshua in a new light and that will enrich your own leadership in the lives of others.
