  • Our Journey Through The Valley (58)

    15 December, 2013

Thus far in reporting on our journey, we have focused on the physical nature of MND (Motor Neurone Disease) and the impact this has on Bev as she finds mobility diminishing more rapidly than either of us would like. Her version of MND (and there seems to be a variety of MND manifestations) is first affecting her legs. She is now dependent on a manual wheel-chair for moving around outside our home and a walker for inside use.
However, there is a whole raft of emotional factors that are at play every day in our lives. I'm sure I state the obvious because we all realise the inseparable bond between the physical and emotional realms and the way they interact. Here are some of the emotional dynamics that are emerging as the journey continues. Those of our readers who use this journal as a basis of prayer for us might take particular note.Over the next few days we want to share with you some of the emotional aspects that seek to be pressing a claim for our attention and response.
