  • Our Journey Through The Valley (61)

    19 December, 2013

Another emtion that seeks to accompany us on our journey is

GRIEF.  All grief is the result of loss of some kind. We usually reserve its use for a bereavement situation. But the loss can be in almost every area of life. It can be the loss of a limb in a car accident, the loss of your home through fire, the loss of a good friend who turned on you without reason.

Recently Bev and I with our daughter and her two daughters spent a delightful week staying right on the beach front just up the coast from where we live. Bev has always enjoyed the water - especially swimming. I wondered how she felt watching her family members having a great time in the surf knowing that she will never enjoy that experience again? Grief comes into that kind of situation.
