  • A Thought For Today

    This issue of life after death creates some fundamental questions for me,

    I recall a time some  years back now when a high profile media baron in Australia, Mr. Kerry Packer, suffered a severe heart attack and had what many would call a "near death" experience. He survived the event and when asked what was on the other side of death, he simply said, " Nothing."

    If I had the opportnity to interview him, one quetion I would ask is, "So Mr. Packer, are you telling us that you were sufficientlly conscious and aware of your surroundings to make that observation? Would that not suggest that there is at least consciousness after death, if not life?"
