  • No Wonder Grace Is So Amazing!!

    17 June, 2013

It's becoming increasingly obvious that, even as Christian disciples, there seem to be very few who have grasped the meaning and significance of GRACE.

We talk about it, we sing about it, we claim to believe in it but we still have an issue with "works" - the rules and regulations that regulate our beliefs and behaviour. These 'laws' may go some of the way to make us 'conform' to standards in an external sense but they can't change our hearts. We may conform to the speed limit while the Highway Patrol car is in the near vicinity but as soon as that restraint departs, we return to do what we were doing of a contrary kind.

GRACE, on the other hand, allows for the liberating power of Jesus to be released in our lives and that, in turn, enables us to experience internal transformation (whether the law enforcement presence is still around or not).  The only other possibility to internal transformation is external conformity.

GRACE is God's empowering presence to be all that He has called us to be and to do all that He has called us to do.
