  • To Change Or Not To Change (1)

    4 June, 2013

Change. Interesting word. Talk about change in a church setting and watch the reaction from most, if not all, those who heard you use "that" word!!  My thought for the day is simple: You can have change without growth but you can't have growth without change.

Many church leaders have made the horrible mistake that all that is needed to breathe fresh life into the various ministries is a change or two. This smacks of the saying about re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic!

Other leaders have resisted change and endeavoured to lead their people into growth, but the kind of growth that they can control.

You can have change without growth but you can't have growth without change.
